Sniper Fury for Android is an excellent first-person shooter game that provides the player with a realistic and highly engaging recreation of being a long-range sniper in war. The game is entirely free to play, but there are some annoying in-app purchases, which is fairly standard for mobile games of this type. The game features some amazing gameplay, and it has a ton of missions that are exceptionally varied in their scope. There are even multiplayer modes that pit the player against another real person. Few games look as good as Sniper Fury.

When you first start playing Sniper Fury, you'll build a squad of soldiers with you at the helm, and you'll start fighting terrorism in all its forms. Each mission provides opportunities for players to earn rewards for their skills, and those rewards come in the form of equipment upgrades and greater skills. Each objective is difficult in its own way, and the game is much more strategic than a simple shooter. Players must direct their squad where to position, they must carefully approach targets so as to not alert them, and they must meet all the objectives set forth by the level. All of that must happen before the level timer runs out.

Of course, the in-game purchases allow the player to progress much quicker than they would without paying, but that is fairly standard. In the multiplayer mode, called My Base mode, you play against another player to try to steal their resources from their base. Like most shooters, the variety of weapons all operate slightly differently, which is great for players to customize their strategy. There are over 130 missions that can help the player get better at sniping.

The visuals in this game are absolutely stunning. The graphics are as good as what you might expect from a console or PC game, and the controls are just as intuitive as they should be with a touchscreen platform. Buttons are used to control items and fire weapons, and you can use your finger to slide across the screen to position the character. With so many different missions, there are also a ton of different environments that must be dealt with. One mission might place you in the middle of a desert, and the next might drop you in the middle of a snow storm.

Not only are there a ton of environments, but there are almost as many weapons and enemies to target. Vehicles, soldiers, and aircraft will all explode with great visuals when shot with precision. The game employs a form of bullet time so players can see exactly how well-placed their shots are. There are few games that offer the same realism and engaging gameplay on any mobile platform, and the multiplayer mode alone will be enough to keep most players coming back for more.
